Henry Morris focuses his practice on criminal litigation, government investigations, and related defense work. He defends both individuals and companies in sensitive criminal matters, including national security- and fraud-related cases, engaging with U.S. Attorneys’ offices and other branches of the Department of Justice. Henry puts his experience to work navigating clients through a variety of investigations, including internal reviews assessing compliance risks and disclosure obligations, Congressional committee probes, and suspension/debarment investigations.
Henry also maintains a civil litigation practice, defending claims in federal court ranging from consumer class actions to product liability and contract disputes. His active pro bono practice includes civil rights litigation in the Eastern District of Virginia, indigent criminal defense in D.C. Superior Court, and housing court representation for D.C. residents facing eviction.
He clerked for the Honorable William E. Fitzpatrick of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and previously served on secondment to the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia.
Henry earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Virginia and the District of Columbia and is an active member of the bar in the Eastern District of Virginia.
