International Policy Advisor*

Christina Poehlitz advises foreign governments and multinational corporations on strategic, policy, and legislative matters across Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, Southwestern Asia, Central Asia, and the Pacific Islands. Her extensive knowledge of the complex policy and political dynamics across a number of industries helps clients navigate issues related to national security, defense, and trade and investment. She routinely provides clients with strategic guidance and counseling, devises and implements comprehensive advocacy campaigns, and builds coalitions with allied stakeholders to advance shared priorities. Christina also keeps her sovereign and private sector clients apprised of evolving global and federal policy landscapes, ensuring they are informed of key legislative and regulatory developments that may impact their interests. 

In addition, Christina helps elevate her client’s profile on Capitol Hill and guides them through federal funding and annual authorization processes. She identifies funding and policy opportunities and develops effective and tailored strategies to secure support for her clients’ initiatives. She received a B.A. in International Studies with a concentration on U.S. Foreign Policy and National Security from American University. She has native fluency in English and Spanish.
