Kaitlyn Schaeffer’s practice focuses on complex product liability and mass tort actions. She has experience defending major pharmaceutical and medical device companies against personal injury claims in state and federal court, including early case assessment, dispositive motions, fact and expert discovery, and depositions. She also counsels multinational companies on a variety of issues, including litigation risks and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulatory issues.
In addition to her commercial matters, Kaitlyn maintains a robust pro bono practice focused on immigration and civil rights, including representing migrant families separated at the border by the U.S. government.
