Sam Sullivan represents clients in antitrust and competition matters, including complex civil litigation, investigations by federal and state antitrust agencies, and merger clearance. In each case, Sam brings his experience, strategic judgment, and business sensibility to bear in delivering positive results for clients.

Sam’s practice spans a broad range of antitrust litigation, including consumer and indirect purchaser class actions, competitor disputes, civil litigation brought by government enforcers, and more. From the pleadings through trial, Sam works to resolve litigation efficiently and creatively, always prioritizing the client’s objectives and business needs. Sam has experience with all aspects of merger clearance, from Hart-Scott Rodino filings through second requests and trial. Sam represents clients across industries, including life sciences, media, technology, consumer products, and healthcare.

Sam received his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a James Kent Scholar and articles editor on the Columbia Business Law Review. During law school, Sam served as an extern in the Antitrust Bureau of the New York State Attorney General’s Office. Sam currently serves on the Economics Committee of the American Bar Association's Antitrust Section and maintains an active pro bono practice focusing on immigration and victims of domestic violence.
