Jessica Wang focuses her practice on regulatory compliance and enforcement in matters concerning the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and assists clients in evaluating and meeting compliance obligations associated with consumer product safety statutes, such as the Consumer Product Safety Act (CPSA), as well as associated regulations and standards.

Ms. Wang has extensive experience defending CPSC civil penalty investigations and enforcement actions, counseling companies on product safety reporting obligations under Section 15(b) of the CPSA, developing effective recall plans where appropriate, and responding to FOIA requests. As a product safety lawyer, Ms. Wang advises manufacturers, importers, and online and traditional retailers of children's products, home appliances, home furnishings, heating and cooling equipment, lithium-ion batteries and recreational vehicles.

Ms. Wang also has extensive experience with strategic management of the fact-finding and e-discovery phases of government investigations. In addition, Ms. Wang has developed expertise in the protection and management of the attorney-client privilege and work product doctrine protections, including the defense of those privileges against claims of waiver and other asserted challenges.

Her pro bono practice is focused on immigration and includes the successful representation of an asylum applicant before the Arlington Immigration Court, affirmative application for asylum, and assistance to U visa holders and their families in securing permanent resident status.
