John Young is an associate in the firm’s general litigation group.

John received his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law. During law school, John was made a member of the UCLA Chapter of the Order of the Coif and was a three-time winner of the Masin Family Academic Excellence Gold Award. John also competed in both internal and external moot court competitions, earning a Certificate of Merit for Individual Achievement in Oral Argument at the 55th Annual Roger J. Traynor Moot Court Competition.

Prior to law school, John received his bachelor’s degree in history from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he achieved Highest Honors and Distinction in the Major for his thesis “New Men” Rising: Landed Emulation in the English Country House, 1700-1860.
