George Zografos is an associate in the competition and antitrust practice group, advising clients across sectors, including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, shipping, consumer goods, and TMT.
His practice spans transactional, advisory, and contentious matters, with experience in multi-jurisdictional merger control and foreign direct investment analyses in M&A transactions, including filings before UK and EU authorities. On the litigation side, he has supported clients in complex competition disputes, including high-value collective proceedings before the Competition Appeal Tribunal, such as the follow-on action arising from the Maritime Car Carriers Cartel.
George takes an active interest in pro bono work, regularly assisting individuals with immigration and labour law matters, and supporting charities with governance and commercial arrangements.
He qualified as a solicitor in 2025, having trained at the firm. Prior to entering legal practice, George worked in Brussels, where he advocated for the interests of trade associations during the law-making processes of the EU institutions, and advised international manufacturers in the life sciences and consumer goods sectors on compliance with EU regulatory frameworks.
