This roundtable will present an overview of brand integrity, supply chain, and counterfeiting issues faced by pharmaceutical companies and how to deal with these issues. The program will focus on three key areas:
1. Supply and Distribution Chain Integrity Issues in Pharmaceutical Industry. The regulatory landscape and evolving trends; developing US Food and Drug Administration policies on securing the supply chain; pedigree developments and other regulatory initiatives to secure the distribution chain; recent regulatory enforcement activities; and risk management and compliance planning.
2. Dealing with the Bad Guys. Types of responses to supply chain and counterfeiting problems (criminal action, civil actions, working with law enforcement); internal strategies and how to effectively manage a brand security program; and public awareness issues and strategies.
3. How to Package Your Criminal Counterfeiting Case for the Federal Authorities in the Most Effective Way. Investigation requirements; information the federal authorities look for; how to communicate effectively with the authorities; and how to package and present your counterfeiting case so the authorities will take it.
