Simon Firth to Speak at GFD: Global Fund Distribution Luxembourg 2014 Conference

London Partner Simon Firth will speak at GFD: Global Fund Distribution Luxembourg 2014, a two-day conference that will focus on assisting UCITS and AIFMD funds to meet regulatory requirements and open distribution channels to raise their assets under management. In the “Distributing Regulated European Funds” session on June 18, Simon and fellow panelists will discuss key elements of distribution, including the number and types of fund structures needed to sell a strategy globally, the transition period and the master-feeder fund structure. Panelists will also examine the impact of these recent regulations, including the passporting, KIID and commercial distribution aspects of UCITS IV, as well as whether the AIFMD still enables funds to provide a competitive advantage.
