The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (“CFPB”) continues to play a major role in the enforcement of federal laws and regulations aimed at protecting consumers. The program addressed the key areas that have been the focus of CFPB enforcement efforts. It also discussed the ways in which the agency is seeking to expand the reach of federal law and the reach of its jurisdiction. The program also looked at enforcement initiatives that the agency is pursuing.
