Policymaker Speaker Series: Featuring US Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO)

September 24, 2020
Arnold & Porter Webinar

During this webinar, the fifteenth in our Policymaker Speaker Series, US Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO) joined members of our Legislative & Public Policy team, various clients and friends to discuss the Congressional response to the COVID-19 pandemic; massive unemployment; business closures across the country; and widespread protests against systemic racism, the police and historic economic inequality.

Senator Bennet is a member of the US Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, the Senate Finance Committee and the Senate Agriculture Committee. He is also the former superintendent of the Denver Public Schools.

About the Series

The federal government is intervening in unprecedented ways in every sector of the American economy as Congress and the White House respond to the impact of COVID-19. Yet, at this critical moment, the realities of social distancing have made it more challenging to communicate directly with policymakers who want to understand how this crisis has harmed industries and businesses across the country. Arnold & Porter's Policymaker Speaker Series provides the opportunity for our clients to engage in interactive conversations with key national leaders and decisionmakers on these and related topics.
