Arnold & Porter Elects Five New Partners

Washington, D.C., January 4, 2005 — The international law firm of Arnold & Porter LLP has elected five new partners, all of whom were formerly associates. Practice areas represented by the group include litigation, environmental law, and food, drug, and medical devices law. All positions were effective January 1, 2005. Four of the new partners are resident in the Washington, D.C., office and one is resident in the Los Angeles office.

The associates who have been elected partner are:

Justin S. Antonipillai, a member of the litigation group. He is a graduate of American University’s Washington College of Law and is resident in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office.

Brian D. Israel, a member of the environmental and litigation groups. He is a graduate of the New York University School of Law and resident in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office.

Gregory H. Levine, a member of the food, drug, and medical devices group. He is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and resident in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office.

John D. Lombardo, a member of the litigation group. He is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, and resident in the firm’s Los Angeles office.

Robert A. McCarter, III, a member of the litigation group. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School and resident in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office.
