Arnold & Porter Advises the Oakland Raiders on Las Vegas Land Deal

Arnold & Porter advised the National Football League's (NFL) Oakland Raiders on its $77.5 million purchase of Las Vegas land on which the team will build a new stadium for use in the 2020 football season. The California-based Raiders purchased the land from an entity that includes multiple New York and Dallas banks. All but one of the NFL's 32 owners voted for the move, which required a three-quarters majority to attain the NFL's approval.
