Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer Partner Bill Baer Named to The National Law Journal's 2017 'Mergers & Acquisitions and Antitrust Trailblazers' List

Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer Antitrust partner Bill Baer was named to The National Law Journal's 2017 "Mergers & Acquisitions and Antitrust Trailblazers" list. The annual list includes attorneys who have "achieved remarkable successes" in the areas of deal making, restructuring, and financing. The list also spotlights attorneys who have "shown a deep passion and perseverance in pursuit of their mission." Baer, who recently rejoined the firm in its Washington, DC office, is the only individual ever to lead antitrust enforcement at both the US Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
