Kathleen Harris Featured in The Lawyer

Arnold & Porter partner Kathleen Harris, who heads the firm's London office and co-chairs the firm's Anti-Corruption practice, has been featured in an article from The Lawyer titled "Black History Month, Arnold & Porter's Kathleen Harris". In the article, Kathleen reflects on her early-career inspirations and motivations along with the challenges that she and Black lawyers face more generally. Kathleen concludes that law firms represent a microcosm of society and meaningful change is best achieved through business and community working together.

Kathleen Harris has achieved international recognition for her expertise. She advises publicly listed multinational corporates, individuals, boards of directors, and special committees in relation to complex economic crime across a wide array of sectors. She is ranked in legal directories, Chambers UK and The Legal 500 UK in which she is listed as a "Leading Individual" and her clients describe her as "an utterly superb lawyer."

Prior to joining Arnold & Porter, Kathleen served as a Senior Civil Servant Heading the Fraud Business Group and Policy Group at the Serious Fraud Office. In these Government roles, she provided strategic advice to the Attorney General's Office, led multi-disciplined teams responsible for the investigation and prosecution of organisations and individuals involved in high-profile bribery investigations, complex financial crime, money laundering, customs and tax evasion.
