Kirsch Named to GlobeSt’s ‘50 Under 40’ in Real Estate List

Arnold & Porter Real Estate senior associate Matt Kirsch was named to GlobeSt.com’s 2022 ‘50 Under 40’ list. The nationwide list recognizes 50 individuals under 40 in the commercial real estate space who have “forged a strong career path for themselves by delivering a strong value-add to their companies.”

Kirsch, who concentrates his practice on the acquisition, financing, ground leasing, sale and development of real property, was recognized for “his ability to provide sophisticated counsel on a wide variety of ground-up real estate development projects, including the negotiation of construction financing, joint-venture arrangements and development agreements, and creation of governance regimes on multi-parcel development sites,” according to GlobeSt.

GlobeSt highlighted Kirsch’s recent significant achievements, including the representation of a national real estate developer in the acquisition of a development site and negotiation of construction loan documents for a 20-story, 423-unit apartment tower development project in Arlington, Virginia; the ground lease of a development site in Naples, Florida for the construction of a five-star luxury hotel; and the redevelopment of a 13-acre industrial site located in Northern Virginia into a mixed-use development containing over 1,500,000 square feet of new construction.
