Elizabeth (Betsy) Long Joins Arnold & Porter’s Intellectual Property Practice

Arnold & Porter announced today that Elizabeth (Betsy) Long has joined the firm’s Intellectual Property practice as counsel, resident in New York.

Ms. Long, a former technical assistant at the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, focuses her practice on patent litigation matters across a wide range of technologies, including pharmaceuticals, automotive technology, computer software, and cell phone hardware. In addition, Ms. Long brings experience in product liability defense litigation for the pharmaceutical sector. She was also an appellate attorney at the United States Department of Veterans Affairs where she represented the Secretary of Veterans Affairs before the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims in appeals related to veterans’ benefits.

Ms. Long earned her JD from George Washington University Law School and received her BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester.
