German Parliament Passes 9th Amendment of German Competition Law

German newspaper Börsen-Zeitung published Frankfurt-based Antitrust associate Dr. Jens Steger's article discussing German Parliament's vote to pass the 9th amendment of the German Act Against Restraints on Competition. The new law considers the EU damages directive in relation to antitrust-related private follow-on actions, anticipates a rise in the number of private damage claims and addresses abusive behavior of dominant companies.
