The Role of Executives in Matrix Structures

At this year's Spokesperson Committee Conference of the VAA, taking place in Heidelberg, Germany, Dr. Hans-Joachim Fritz gave a lecture on "The Role of Executives in Matrix Structures." Dr. Fritz's presentation focused on the design of the executive position and its duty in this specific kind of organization, which is becoming more and more common practice. Furthermore, his lecture dealt with detailed questions resulting thereof (i.e., the obligation to comply with instructions regarding the cross-border business management of multidisciplinary corporations, as well as related consequences to and liabilities of the executive).

Please note that the conference was aimed at senior executives as members of spokesperson committees.
