In this article, Dr. Fritz argues that once the EU Whistleblower Directive gets adopted into national law, some work will still be needed to correct its flaws. He says the Directive, as it is, undermines the anonymity of the whistleblower and restricts opportunities for the company to cure its deficits internally and silently without risking a public reputation damage. Thus, these issues must be considered in the upcoming political decision-making process.
