Our Tax attorneys work closely with our real estate group to best serve our clients on a variety of complex transactions involving US and non-US investors, and tax-exempt investors. We represent our clients in acquisitions, financings, restructurings, and workouts, including bankruptcy proceedings of major real estate projects both commercial and residential. In addition to the tax strategies we create for real estate owners, developers and syndication lenders in large investment banking and financial service firms, we advise clients on the formation and operation of public and private REITs, including property-owning and mortgage REITs.
