Leveraged Finance Associate - Mid-Senior-Level

Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP is seeking a mid- to senior-level associate to join its Leveraged Finance team in its New York or Chicago office. The Firm’s market-leading finance practice regularly advises agents, lenders, private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers in a broad range of financing transactions, including acquisition financings, working capital facilities, debt restructurings and recapitalizations, debtor-in-possession financings, exit financings and liability management exercises. The team regularly counsels on sophisticated, multi-tier capital structures, including first- and second-lien facilities, first out/last out structures, unitranche structures and senior/mezzanine structures. The successful candidate can expect to work in a high energy and collaborative environment and have significant client contact and responsibility for structuring, drafting, and negotiating deal terms and documentation.

 

Ideal candidates should have a minimum of four years of relevant law firm experience working on leveraged finance transactions and have excellent drafting and communication skills and strong market knowledge.

 

Applicants must currently be licensed, or eligible to become licensed, to practice law in the state they are applying.

The salary range for this position is $310,000 - $425,000, commensurate with experience.
