International Trade Specialist – Antidumping & Countervailing

Arnold & Porter is seeking a Trade Specialist with deep experience in antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) matters to support its international trade practice. This role focuses on advising clients subject to AD and CVD investigations and proceedings. The Specialist will assist clients across all phases of administrative procedures, including strategic guidance on agency precedent, information collection and submission, verification preparation, and on-site government audits. The position involves managing and coordinating complex antidumping and countervailing duty investigations, working closely with attorneys and client teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on AD and CVD investigations and administrative reviews
  • Manage high-profile AD/CVD proceedings from initiation through final determination
  • Develop and implement strategies based on agency precedent and practice
  • Oversee information collection, questionnaire responses, and data presentation
  • Prepare clients for and support on-site government verifications and audits
  • Serve as a subject-matter resource on AD/CVD procedures and compliance issues

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of antidumping and countervailing duty case experience
  • In-depth knowledge of administrative procedures, agency practice, and precedent
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, high-profile investigations
  • Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills

The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $310,000, commensurate with experience.
