Intellectual Property Associate - Mid-to-Senior-Level
Arnold & Porter is seeking mid to senior level IP litigation associates to join the Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Group in our Seattle, Silicon Valley, and Washington DC offices.
The Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Group is made up of 140+ attorneys who advise clients along the life cycle of their most important assets—spanning patents, copyrights, trademarks, rights of publicity, trade secrets, and related issues. Our IP Litigation team combines proven trial and appellate experience, strategic approaches, and technological knowledge to enforce and defend our clients' IP rights, particularly in the life sciences, consumer goods, and high technology industries. Attorneys work on matters for marquee clients around the globe.
Qualified applicants for these positions must have a minimum of four years of substantive work experience in IP litigation, particularly with experience in federal district court and/or ITC proceedings; strong research, writing and analytic skills; an ability to work independently and creatively; as well as an ability to work successfully as part of a team. A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Software Programming, Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred. All applicants should have excellent academic credentials and references.
