Private Client Services Associate – Junior to Mid-Level

Arnold & Porter is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join the Private Client Services group within the Tax Practice in the Washington, D.C. office. 
 
Arnold & Porter’s Private Client Services group provides an interdisciplinary approach to addressing the complex needs of wealthy individuals and families regarding their businesses, investments, wealth succession planning, and philanthropic activities. The group counsels clients on a wide variety of issues relating to estate planning, tax, real estate, family disputes, business organization, and succession planning. We have extensive experience in the creation and operation of family offices for the purposes of wealth preservation and asset protection planning. 
 
Qualified candidates must have experience in trusts and estates, transfer tax, and associated income tax areas of the law. Some experience in the field is required, with a minimum of two to three years of work experience in the field preferred. Completion of, or current enrollment in, an LL.M. in taxation or estate planning is preferred.
 
Applicants must currently be licensed, or currently eligible to become licensed, to practice law in Washington, D.C.
 
The salary range for this position in Washington, D.C.is $225,000 to $365,000, commensurate with experience.

Eligibility for an hours-based bonus available.
