Thibault Henry advises clients on all aspects of EU competition law, including merger control, abuse of dominance, cartels, compliance programs, and State aid. His experience covers a diverse range of industry sectors, including pharmaceuticals, technology, and transport. Thibault also provides strategic advise to clients on matters relating to the Digital Markets Act.
Before joining Arnold & Porter in 2024, Thibault was a legal intern at the French Competition Authority during which he contributed to significant cartel and abuse of dominant position investigations. Thibault also gained substantial experience in major law firms located in Paris and Brussels. He was also laureate at the first competition law moot court organized by the French Competition Authority in 2019.
Experience
- Novo Nordisk on European and other international antitrust and regulatory approvals in connection with its US$11 billion acquisition of three fill-finish sites from Novo Holdings A/S (Novo Holdings). As part of the deal, valued at US$16.5 billion, Novo Holdings acquired (through a merger) Catalent, Inc., a NYSE listed CDMO headquartered in New Jersey.
- PAI Partners in obtaining EC clearance for its joint control acquisition of Theramex, one of the largest specialty pharma platforms dedicated to women and their health, from CVC Capital Partners.*
