Alice Lin advises public and private companies on a variety of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, capital markets, and corporate governance. She represents clients across multiple industries such as technology, pharmaceutical, aviation, insurance, and financial services.

Ms. Lin is a member of the firm's Pro Bono Committee and maintains an active pro bono practice ranging from asylum cases to housing disputes for low-income tenants and advising non-profits and minority-owned small businesses on corporate governance and contract issues.

During law school, she was an editorial member of the Emory International Law Review and David J. Bederman Fellow in International Law. Ms. Lin previously worked as a corporate paralegal at an international law firm in Tokyo, assisting clients with complex cross-border M&A transactions.

  • Orica, a world-leading mining and infrastructure solutions provider, in its acquisition of Terra Insights, a leading end-to-end sensors, software and data delivery technology platform for geotechnical, structural and geospatial monitoring in mining and infrastructure from Vance Street Capital LLC (via VSC RST Holdco, L.P.)  for CAD$505 million.
  • AT&T in connection with merger control matters related to Discovery’s $43 billion purchase of WarnerMedia from AT&T.
  • Tomorrow Agency LLC on the sale of its equity interests to a private equity fund. 
  • SK ecoplant Co. Ltd., a Korean company in PIPE investment in a U.S. publicly listed company.
  • SK ecoplant Co. Ltd., a Korean company in a joint venture with Korean financial institutions for investment in a U.S. publicly listed company.
  • SoFi Bank in restructurings and workouts of student loan-backed securities.
  • Sumitomo Pharma Oncology Inc. in negotiation of clinical trial agreements with various institutions.
