Daniel Lisk represents traditional and private real estate lenders, institutional property owners, and developers in a range of commercial real estate transactions. He brings a practical approach to focus on the critical aspects of a transaction, protect against risk, leverage upside, and guide deals to closing. Daniel’s extensive experience includes mortgage and mezzanine financing on transitional assets, construction lending, the sale of loan interests, property acquisitions and dispositions, equity investments, loan workouts, and restructurings.

Experience

  • $200 million predevelopment financing for the construction of a New York City condominium building, including negotiation of the intercreditor agreement and syndication of the senior loan to multiple participating lenders.*
  • $215 million portfolio sale of eight whole loan interests.* 
  • Restructuring of $2 billion mortgage and mezzanine loans secured by various mall properties and sale of the syndicate lender’s note.*
  • $360 million construction loan and co-lender negotiations in connection with the development of a multi-family and retail building in Brooklyn, NY.*
  • Deed-in-lieu of foreclosure acquisition and subsequent $60 million sale of two office properties to a third-party buyer.*
  • $40 million mortgage loan to refinance a multifamily and retail property in New York City and the participation of the loan into senior and junior interests.*
  • Chicago landmark building $500 million sale of the condominium office portion of the building.*
  • $250 million mortgage and mezzanine financing of New York City hotel portfolio and sale of the senior loan to a syndicate of lenders.*
  • $100 million preferred equity investment in NNN industrial portfolio and refinancing of the senior loan.*
  • $75 million construction loan for the development of a multi-family project in Texas.*
