Katie McHenry is a seasoned transactional lawyer with more than 24 years of comprehensive experience in commercial real estate development and general business matters. She has served as lead counsel to prominent shopping center owners and tenants, commercial and residential developers, property management and real estate companies, technology firms, and lending institutions.

Katie’s practice encompasses all aspects of real property planning and development, including multifamily developments, secured financing, and real estate acquisitions and dispositions (both individual properties and large portfolio acquisitions, 1031 exchanges, and ownership by tenancies-in-common). She has particular experience in complex leasing matters, including retail (including national chains and “big box” tenants), medical and standard office buildings, as well as industrial projects. Katie also handles business entity structuring of real property ownership and investment vehicles, limited liability companies, joint ventures, and partnerships.
