Ada Tonkonogy represents financial institutions, corporate borrowers, and companies in structured and leveraged finance transactions, including asset-based financings, syndicated lending arrangements, restructurings, and various secured and unsecured finance transactions. Ada represents purchasers and sellers in receivables financings, particularly those structured as true sales, including transactions that utilize credit support. Her experience includes advising clients in the industrial development and energy sectors.

Prior to law school, Ada worked with a Big Four accounting firm, providing financial statement audit services to various asset management clients, including those in the alternative investments industry. She remains a certified public accountant licensed in New York.

Ada graduated from St. John’s University School of Law, where she served as an executive articles editor of the St. John’s Journal of Civil Rights and Economic Development. She received her B.S. in Accounting, along with a Minor in the Legal Environment of Business (LEBUS), from the Pennsylvania State University, where she was a member of Beta Alpha Psi.
