Katherine Wax is a member of the firm’s Real Estate practice. She provides practical, actionable counsel to owners, operators, and developers of real estate in a variety of complex real estate transactions, with a particular focus on the management of corporate real estate portfolios. Katherine’s experience spans several industries, including health care, technology, nonprofit, manufacturing, agribusiness, food and beverage, and research and development. She also has specific experience helping clients understand and plan for new regulatory and legal requirements.

Prior to joining Arnold & Porter, Katherine spent several years as in-house counsel at Amazon and previously practiced at law firms in Seattle and Portland, Oregon. She maintains an active pro bono practice and is an Adjunct Professor for Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law’s West Coast Initiative.
