In this webinar, the sixth in our Policymaker Speaker Series, US Representatives Joyce Beatty (D-OH) and Steve Stivers (R-OH) joined our Legislative and Public Policy team and various clients to discuss the Congressional response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Congresswoman Beatty and Congressman Stivers both serve on the House Financial Services Committee, which has jurisdiction over banking, insurance, real estate, public and assisted housing, and securities industries. Congresswoman Beatty is the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations. Congressman Stivers is the Ranking Member on the Subcommittee on Housing, Community Development and Insurance.

About the Series

The federal government is intervening in unprecedented ways in every sector of the American economy as Congress and the White House respond to the impact of COVID-19. Yet, at this critical moment, the realities of social distancing have made it more challenging to communicate directly with policymakers who want to understand how this crisis has harmed industries and businesses across the country. Arnold & Porter's Policymaker Speaker Series provides the opportunity for our clients to engage in interactive conversations with key national leaders and decisionmakers on these and related topics.
