Debbie Feinstein, Arnold & Porter Antitrust/Competition partner and former Bureau of Competition Director at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC), was quoted in the Global Competition Review article, “FTC Headcount Cut Could Reduce Competition Enforcement,” which examined the recent reductions in staff at the FTC, the largest single-year change at the agency in 45 years.
Debbie commented on the impact of the staffing reduction at the FTC, which accounted for one quarter of its employees last year, and how it could affect the agency’s productivity and ability to conduct cases.
