CHICAGO – Kaye Scholer LLP is pleased to announce that D. Tyler Nurnberg, a partner in the Business Reorganization and Creditors’ Rights Group, has been named Managing Partner of the Chicago office. Nurnberg is a founding member of the Chicago office, which has grown to over thirty lawyers and is celebrating its 10th Anniversary. Nurnberg takes over for Michael B. He has substantial experience representing private equity funds with distressed portfolio companies and also represents investors looking to acquire troubled businesses.
Nurnberg was recognized as a “rising star” in bankruptcy/restructuring law in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business in 2007 and 2008, and is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute.
