Corporate Lawyer Arturo Caraballo Rejoins Arnold & Porter
WASHINGTON, DC, August 10, 2015 -- Arnold & Porter LLP announced today that Arturo Caraballo, former President and General Counsel of Veris Consulting, Inc., has rejoined the firm as counsel in the Corporate Practice Group. Mr. Caraballo will reside in the firm's Washington, DC office and will focus his transactional practice on advising sovereign and private sector clients on corporate transactions, principally in Latin America.
Mr. Caraballo joined Arnold & Porter in 1997 and spent nearly a decade at the firm, where he handled many transactions in Latin America including capital markets offerings, export and multilateral credits, project and other structured financings, swap and derivative operations, and mergers and acquisitions. During his tenure at Veris Consulting, Mr. Caraballo managed a wide range of contractual, corporate, litigation and risk management matters for the accounting and financial management consulting firm. He also oversaw the company's day-to-day operations, including matters relating to personnel, corporate finance, information technology, insurance and business development.

Mr. Caraballo obtained his JD from Tulane University Law School where he also received his BA.
