Arnold & Porter Advised Bluebird Partners on Its Sale of Island View Holidays Group
Arnold & Porter attorneys advised longstanding client Bluebird Partners on the sale of its Island View Holidays Group portfolio company, an Isle of Wight-based holiday and caravan park owner-operator, to AG Holiday Parks UK Limited. The transaction, which closed on May 5, 2017, involved the disposition of a group of companies, as well as the redemption of loan notes and banking facilities.
The sale is the most recent in a number of transactions on which the firm has acted for the London-based independent private equity sponsor specializing in the UK lower-mid market. In late 2016, Arnold & Porter advised Bluebird Partners on its £44.4 million sale of self-storage operator Space Maker Stores.
"We have been delighted to continue our representation of Bluebird Partners on its latest transaction," said London Corporate partner Sean Scanlon, who led the deal.
Maple & Black Law, led by its real estate partner, Ed Finley, assisted Arnold & Porter by providing real estate advice. Goodwin Procter represented the buyer, AG Holiday Parks.
"Sean and his team have once again guided us through an interesting transaction," Bluebird Partners' James Elton said.
