Arnold & Porter Advises Factory on Equity Investment in Sports Nutritional Brand Honey Stinger

Arnold & Porter client Factory LLC (Factory), a Pennsylvania-based company, made an equity investment in sports nutritional brand Honey Stinger, which is owned by EN-R-G Foods LLC (EN-R-G Foods).

Honey Stinger produces organic honey-based sports nutritional products. With funding from Factory, Honey Stinger will expand its marketing and distribution programs, in addition to expanding the company's offering of innovative performance-based products.

In addition to Factory's investment in Honey Stinger, Arnold & Porter advised Factory on its May 2018 investment in the clean label, "free-from" baked goods company Mikey's, LLC. Factory has $250 million of capital to invest in emerging food, beverage, supplement and pet product companies.
