May 27, 2025

Arnold & Porter partner Debbie Feinstein has been recognized by Global Competition Review’s “Women in Antitrust 2025” report. The report showcases female private practitioners, in-house counsel, economists, and academics who stand out “not just for their career successes, but for what they have done and continue to do in influencing new and existing colleagues and contemporaries.” Feinstein has been featured in all previous editions of the report—in 2021, 2016, 2013, and 2009.

Feinstein, who leads the firm’s Global Antitrust group, brings a wealth of experience to her practice in advising clients on a range of antitrust challenges before U.S. antitrust authorities. She previously served as Director of the Bureau of Competition at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, where she was responsible for supervising the investigation and enforcement of the U.S. antitrust laws against anticompetitive mergers and conduct. Throughout her career, Feinstein has focused on merger and acquisition reviews by antitrust enforcement agencies in the U.S. and globally, as well as civil investigations and litigation. Her industry experience is broad, and includes retail, food, life sciences and pharmaceutical, consumer products, healthcare, chemicals, and automotive parts, among others.
