Simon Firth Publishes Article on Industry Guidance and its Role with FSA Regulation in the UK

Simon Firth, a partner in the Corporate & Finance department in the London office, published an article in the Spring 2007 issue of the AIMA Journal titled "Industry Guidance." The article examines the Financial Services Authority's (FSA) discussion paper released in November 2006 titled "FSA Confirmation of Industry Guidance." The FSA is placing more reliance upon trade associations, such as the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA), in playing a significant role in helping the industry develop suitable practices to meet regulatory obligations.
