Peter J. Klopfenstein

Peter J. Klopfenstein is an associate in the firm’s Corporate & Finance Group. He advises public and private companies on a range of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity financings, corporate governance, restructuring, fund formation, and matters involving digital assets and cryptocurrency. He also advises clients on capital markets transactions and SEC reporting and compliance obligations.

Peter maintains an active pro bono practice, assisting nonprofit organizations with entity formation, tax-exempt status, and corporate governance matters.

Peter graduated Order of the Coif from the University of Colorado Law School, where he served as the Forum Editor for the University of Colorado Law Review. During law school, he externed for the Honorable Andrew J. Luxen of the 2nd Judicial District Court of Colorado.

Before entering the legal profession, Peter spent over a decade in the media and entertainment industry, working as a cinematographer on films, commercials, and television productions.
