Carlyn Williams represents public and private companies and investors in connection with a variety of matters, including formation and governance issues, public and private mergers and acquisitions, public and private equity and debt financings, and SEC reporting. Ms. Williams has worked extensively with emerging growth companies and represented several venture capital funds making investments in the technology, natural foods, life sciences and medical device industries, among others.
Ms. Williams also supports companies in technology-based transactions, with experience drafting and structuring licensing, collaboration, software-as-a-service and other technology services agreements.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Williams was an associate in the Colorado office of another international law firm. During law school, she served as the Executive Notes Editor for the Michigan Telecommunications and Technology Law Review. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Williams worked as a research assistant studying the structure and assembly of papilloma and polyomaviruses.
