This session provides a competition law update on cases and topics relevant to the pharma and life sciences sector.
In particular, we will discuss the CMA's prochlorperazine fine, the European Court's judgment in Intel regarding discount schemes companies and the impact of emerging Foreign Direct Investment reviews in the life sciences space.
We will also discuss current topics related to vertical restraints— particularly the EU Commission's consultation on its dual distribution guidance and recurring themes of distribution models involving agencies and product consignments.
