Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer Represents Wheels Up In Latest Equity Raise

Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer represented Wheels Up, a membership-based private aviation company, in its latest equity raise of $117.5 million. The latest round of financing is expected to add to the Wheels Up exclusive fleet of Beechcraft aircrafts, accelerate membership growth and the company's expansion into Western Europe.
The equity raise follows a $90 million aircraft financing facility completed in June 2017. The firm also advised Wheels Up it its equity raise of up to $115 million in 2015.
The Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer team for the transactions included Thomas Yadlon, John Geelan, Michael Mulitz, Eric Levine, Tyler Conway, Jinha Chung, Laurie Abramowitz, Brian Witkowski, Jeff London, David Sausen, Peter Danias and Ethan Zausner.
