FCC Cracks Down on the Use of Cell Phone Jammers

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) recently intensified its campaign against cell phone jammers, proposing large fines against two businesses that allegedly were using jammers to prevent employees from making personal telephone calls during work hours. This week's actions follow the FCC's launch in October 2012 of a jammer tip line (1-855-55-NOJAM) and proposed fines against six individuals for advertising and selling signal jammers on craigslist.org.
