Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer Advises DC Capital in Acquisition of Janus Global Operations

Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer represented an affiliate of DC Capital Partners Management, LP (DC Capital) in its acquisition of Janus Global Operations (Janus), a global logistics and stability operations contractor.

Janus provides commercial munitions remediation, environmental remediation and services, risk management, and logistics and lifecycle support solutions. It was recently spotlighted for its work clearing explosive hazards in Iraq, which allowed more than one million displaced persons to return to their homes.

DC Capital, a private equity firm based in Alexandria, Virginia, focuses on making control investments in middle market, US-based government, engineering and construction service providers. DC Capital's extensive resources and portfolio of partner companies will embolden Janus's range of client services.

The transaction was led by Corporate and Finance partners Matthew Owens and Kevin Lavin.
