Arnold & Porter Advises J.W. Childs Associates in SIMCOM Holdings Merger

Arnold & Porter advised private equity firm J.W. Childs Associates L.P. (J.W. Childs) in the sale of SIMCOM Holdings, Inc. (SIMCOM) and its affiliated companies to aviation-focused private investment firm Directional Aviation Capital (Directional).

SIMCOM is the largest independent provider of flight simulator-based training services to the global general aviation, business aviation and regional airline markets. Directional will add SIMCOM to its portfolio of private business aviation companies and provide financing and operational strategy.
