Procedure
Applicants must submit a current resume, official law school transcript*, and a personal statement (limited to 500 words) that describes the importance of diversity and inclusion in their personal background and how they have demonstrated a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.
*If your law school has not released first semester grades by the application deadline, you may submit your application without your law school transcript. We will follow up to request an updated transcript, if needed.

2021 1L A2 Immersion Program

Arnold & Porter and Adobe Legal are seeking applications for their A2 Immersion Program from current law students who are a member of a historically underrepresented group in the legal profession and will have completed one year of law school by the summer of 2021.

For the first half of the summer, you will participate in Arnold & Porter’s Summer Associate Program. Arnold & Porter’s Summer Associates work directly with attorneys on a combination of commercial billable, business development, and pro bono matters. All Arnold & Porter Summer Associates are assigned mentors who provide formal and informal feedback. You will participate in a comprehensive training program throughout the summer, including a Firmwide Training Forum. And, of course, attend social events designed for you to get to know other Summer Associates, attorneys, and their practices.

Arnold & Porter’s Washington office is seeking applications for the 2021 U.S. Summer Associate Program from current law students who will have completed two years of law school by the summer of 2021 and will graduate from law school in Winter 2021 or Spring 2022.
