Colorado Pledge to Diversity Program

  • The Firm provides a paid Summer Associate position in our Denver office through the Colorado Pledge to Diversity Program (Program). The program is made available to first-year (or equivalent evening) students attending either the University of Colorado Law School, the University of Denver Sturm College of Law or the University of Wyoming College of Law. The Program's primary purpose is educational. In furtherance of this purpose and given the historic under-representation of diverse lawyers in the legal profession, the Program seeks to provide a means for exposing diverse law students to opportunities in the legal profession and vice versa. The objective is to establish a vehicle through which the participation of diverse students in clerkship programs is increased, with the long-term goal of increasing hiring of diverse students. Additional information can be found on the Program's website.

New York City Bar Diversity Fellowship Program

  • The Firm provides a paid Summer Associate position in our New York office through the New York City Bar Association's (City Bar) Diversity Fellowship Program. The goal of the Fellowship Program is to offer law students from under-represented populations a unique summer employment opportunity in New York City law firms and corporate law departments after their first year of law school. The City Bar identifies students who have proven themselves, even as 1Ls, capable of flourishing in the challenging settings that are today's government offices, law firms and corporations. Arnold & Porter's City Bar Fellow joins the summer program in our New York office. For more information, please visit the City Bar Association's website.
