Arnold & Porter Advises RLS Partners on Cold Storage Space Investments

Arnold & Porter recently advised RLS Partners LLC, an affiliate of RLS Logistics, on two strategic investments in the cold storage space. The transactions advance RLS Partners' continued strategy to create a national platform of family-owned, temperature-controlled supply chain solutions providers.

Arnold & Porter advised RLS Partners on its acquisition of a family of Utah-based frozen and refrigerated warehouse solutions providers Performance Cold Storage, Performance Warehouse, and Performance Trucking in a transaction that closed on January 31, 2022. The acquisition will result in a strategically located warehouse in the Front Range region.

Arnold & Porter also advised RLS Partners on its acquisition of Michigan-based refrigerated warehouse and transportation service provider Hutt Trucking, Hutt Logistics and affiliates, in a transaction that closed on February 1, 2022. The acquisition adds a Michigan-based warehouse partner to the RLS Partners portfolio.

Both Arnold & Porter transactional teams were led by partner Stephen Koval, who co-heads the firm's Private Equity practice.
