Arnold & Porter Announces Election of 14 New Partners, 5 New Counsel, One Managing Director

WASHINGTON, DC, December 16, 2021 — Arnold & Porter is pleased to announce the election of 14 new partners, 5 new counsel, and one managing director, effective January 1, 2022.

Partners

Lauren Daniel is a member of the Environmental practice, resident in the Washington, DC office. She earned her JD from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. She received her BA from Claremont McKenna College, cum laude.

Amy Endicott, a member of the International Arbitration practice, is resident in the San Francisco office. She earned her JD with a certificate in international law from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where she also received her BA, Phi Beta Kappa.

Joseph Farris is a member of the Intellectual Property practice, resident in the San Francisco office. He earned his JD from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. He received his BA from the University of Wisconsin, cum laude.

Matt Fornataro is a member of the Life Sciences & Healthcare Regulatory practice, resident in the Washington, DC office. He earned his JD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and received his BA from Bucknell University, magna cum laude. He is co-chair of the firm’s Pride Affinity Group for LGBTQ+ attorneys.

Michelle Gillice, a member of the Product Liability & Mass Tort practice, is resident in the Washington, DC office. She earned her JD from the American University Washington College of Law and received her BS from Syracuse University, cum laude.

Abeba Habtemariam is a member of the Life Sciences & Healthcare Regulatory practice, resident in the Washington, DC office. She earned her JD from Yale Law School and received her MS and BA from Johns Hopkins University, with honors.

Amber Hay, a member of the Financial Services practice, is resident in the Washington, DC office. She earned her JD from the University of Michigan Law School and received her BA from the University of Michigan.

Jenna Levy, a member of the Technology Transactions Group in the Corporate & Finance practice, is resident in the New York office. She earned her JD from New York University School of Law and received her BA from the University of Pennsylvania, summa cum laude.

William Perdue is a member of the Appellate & Supreme Court practice, resident in the Washington, DC office. He earned his JD from Yale Law School and received his BA from Yale College, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa. He clerked for The Honorable Anthony M. Kennedy of the Supreme Court of the United States, The Honorable Robert A. Katzmann of the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and The Honorable Jed S. Rakoff of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Carmela Romeo, a member of the Complex Litigation practice, is resident in the New York office. She received her JD from Brooklyn Law School, summa cum laude. She earned her BA from Boston University, magna cum laude. She clerked for The Honorable Henry Pitman of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Amy Ryan is a member of the Tax Exempt Organization practice, resident in the Washington, DC office. She earned her JD from Georgetown University Law Center, cum laude. She received her BA from the University of Virginia.

Rashmi Seth, a member of the Corporate & Finance practice, is resident in the New York office. She earned her JD from American University Washington College of Law, summa cum laude. She received her AB from Smith College, cum laude. She clerked for The Honorable Reginald W. Gibson of the US Court of Federal Claims.

Matt Tabas is a member of the Antitrust practice, resident in the Washington, DC office. He earned his JD from St. John's University School of Law and received his AB from Colby College, cum laude.

Marisa White, a member of the Corporate & Finance practice, is resident in the New York office. She earned her JD from St. John's University School of Law and received her BA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.

Counsel

Libby Amos-Stone is a member of the Life Sciences & Healthcare Regulatory practice, resident in London. She received her Solicitor Advocate rights from BPP Law School, her Post-Graduate Diploma in EU law from King’s College London, with distinction. She also received her LLB from The College of Law, First Class Honours, and her BSc from the University of Bristol, First Class Honours.

Heather Ashour, a member of the Corporate & Finance practice, is resident in the Denver office. She received her JD from The University of Texas School of Law, with honors. She earned her BA from Rice University, cum laude.

Michael Kientzle is a member of the Intellectual Property practice, resident in the Washington, DC office. He earned his JD from Georgetown University Law Center, cum laude and received his BA from Luther College, cum laude.

Ludovica Pizzetti, a member of the Antitrust practice, is resident in the London office. She earned her Postgraduate Diploma from King’s College London, her LLM from the University College London, and her Master’s Degree from Università degli Studi di Siena, magna cum laude.

Oscar Ramallo is a member of the Intellectual Property practice, resident in the Los Angeles office. He earned his JD from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif. He received his BA from the University of Southern California, magna cum laude. He clerked for The Honorable Mary M. Schroeder for the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Managing Director

David Skillman is a member of the Legislative & Public Policy practice. He earned his JD from the University of Oregon School of Law, where he was a Fellow, Senator Wayne Morse Center for Law and Politics. He received his BA from Colorado College.
